OAK + FORT Full Time + Part Time Retail Associate

OAK + FORT seeks part time and full time retail associates at our Edmonton location.

Purpose of Position

The primary goal is to work in store to generate sales and bring in revenue for the establishment. Maximize sales and exceed customer care while assisting customers in selection and purchase of products, while abiding company policies and procedures. Embody the OAK + FORT culture in all daily activities.

Key Result Areas

  • Provide customer care by surpassing customer expectations at every opportunity, maximizing every selling opportunity to achieve sales targets
  • Take each opportunity to attain customer data while encouraging repeat visits and customer loyalty.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly by investigating problems, developing solutions and making appropriate recommendations to the store management
  • Identify customer needs and answer all product related questions
  • Enhance and maintain brand standards of merchandise presentation and store environment
  • Follow company procedures and processes to maintain security of stock, customer records and cash handling.
  • Attend and participate in all store meetings and training events as required ensuring good communication is maintained.
  • Adhere to company policy on dress code and conduct as outlined in employee handbook.
  • Foster a team working attitude and open to constructive feedback
  • Any other tasks as outlined by the store management being flexible in approach to the business demands.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of retail sales
  • Past retail/customer service experience
